Sleepless in Spain

Just to let you know - I'm still alive and breathing. I have not been eaten by tarantulas or flying mice (I had a crazy dream about flying mice that terrified me. In the end they only wanted to play with Bella's maracas).

We are getting back into the swing of things here and it's a bit taxing. Jet lag going to the US - no problem. Coming back, however, is another story altogether. What makes it more complicated is throwing a nine month old with a cold into the mix. Needless to say, our sleep schedules are completely out of whack.

I have some blogs to write, half of a filthy apartment to clean, a new babysitter to interview and a weekly recipe schedule to organize apart from the sick baby and tired, hungry husband to take care of.

I will get back to this blog within the week. My new years resolution is next. Stay tuned!

It makes me laugh that half of your apartment is filthy and the other half is clean.

I am surprised any of your apartment is clean! Glad your home safe. Your nephew is a gymnast.

I can actually hear your exhaustion in this blog entry. I'm sure that's a difficult adjustment. Hope Baby B gets well soon and you all get some good sleep!

P.S.Tammy needs to start a blog - I want to hear more about this gymnast!

Nothing throws off a schedule like a cold, throw in jet lag and I can only imagine...

We loved having you here and now vbff Hailey is sad and we want you to move to Vashon Island.

I show up as Mommy on everyone's blog because I don't know how to use a different name since I first started on Hailey's blog.

Give Baby B and Alex hugs and keep one for yourself.

I miss you guys so much!! It was so good to be able to spend so much time with you guys. I'm pretty emotional right now, so I'm crying just thinking about how far away you are, and how I wish you lived closer!! My emotions much be closer to the surface due to lack of sleep, though I don't have a baby excuse, just this new preschool I'm starting. Love you lot's!!

Oh believe me, Jenny, I've shed my fair share of tears in the past two weeks, missing you all. It was like having my own little perfect world for a while there, and then it was ripped away!!!

Keep thinking positive thoughts that we'll be moving back that way soon!!!! Sending you all big big warm hugs!
